Hope for the Hypocrite
Matthew 23
In Matthew 23 Jesus gives his final sermon (at least according to Matthew's Gospel).
Jesus' first sermon in Matthew opens with blessings for the meek (Mat 5:3-1
2), his last opens with woes against the religious elite, the "hypocrites." It's not a pretty picture! Is there any hope for the hypocrite? Is it only the religious leaders that are hypocrite?
In this 3 part series, we'll see what Jesus has to say, how it relates to us and find out what kind of HOPE we have as we journey with Jesus. And we all need hope!
