We are thankful to our faithful God and to each of you for your generosity. We exceeded our year end donations goal, receiving over $85,000 in Nov & Dec toward our goal of $80,000! This is a huge blessing and sets up well for 2024.

Financial Year End Update
Our budget goal for this year is $260,000. We have received $180,000 year to date. Thus we need to receive another $80,000 to meet all our obligations in these next two months.
We were in a very similar situation last year and came very close to making our goal. This year our expenses are trending as expected, as the staff team are doing a great job managing these. That’s good news!
So, we would ask as you pray and consider your year-end giving, that you remember Emmanuel, as we pray that ideally we will receive another $80,000. Thank you.

2021 Giving Update
In 2021, giving to our General Fund totaled $255,400. This compares to our budgeted amount of $265,000. Thanks to everyone at ECC for your faithfulness and generosity.
We will be presenting our proposed budget for 2022 at an upcoming Annual Community Meeting (date to be announced). Tax receipts for 2021 will be distributed before the end of February.
NOV 9, 2021
The LT would like to keep you up to date on our finances. To date, we have received $183K of a budgeted $265K. That means we need to receive $85K in November and December. Typically, this is when people give the most, but we want to make sure you are aware of our current situation. We need our usual faithful response from people in these last two months of the year.
Above all, please keep praying for our leadership, our people and our community.
OCT 2021
As we start the final quarter of the year, the Leadership Team wanted to give an update on our church finances. Our giving remains consistent with last year (2020). From January 1 to the end of September 2021, our giving to three funds (General, Compassion and Building) totals about $170,000 compared to $165,000 in 2020. Our expenses this year, however, have been higher than last. We have had higher insurance, maintenance and security costs. We have also purchased camera and computer equipment to allow us to continue to broadcast our services effectively. As of September 30, our expenses have exceeded our income by $7,141.
As we do every year, as we get closer to year end, we will give more regular updates on our finances. If at any time you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our treasurer, Dwight, or any member of the Leadership Team.
JULY 2021 - Mid-Year Financial Update
We are grateful for the consistent giving from members of our community. To June 30, we have received gifts of about $118,000 to our General Fund which is tracking about 9% ahead of 2020 numbers. Offerings directed to our Compassion Fund total $1,627. This is lower than last year at this time but with some funds left over from 2020, our Compassion Fund continues to be able to offer a helping hand to those in our community who are in a time of special need.
Year to date, our expenses are tracking higher than our anticipated budgeted amounts in certain categories. Principally, our facilities expenses have been higher. Repairs were needed to the furnace in the Good Shepherd building and some recent changes have increased security costs. Insurance premiums this year were also more than what we paid in 2020. Earlier this year, we also invested in some new camera and computer equipment.
If you would like more information on our community's finances, feel free to reach out to Dwight Dee, who serves as Treasurer on our Leadership Team.

JANUARY 2021 Update
"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God." 2 Corinthians 9:10-11
Last Sunday, we announced that we will be making our final payment for the mortgage on the ECC property. What a tremendous milestone for our community! This final payment was made possible by the ongoing generosity of so many over the years... and this generosity and faithfulness continued through 2020, a year marked by uncertainty and upheaval.
For the year 2020, we received a total of $253,280.99 for donations to our General Fund and $9,163.80 for donations to our Compassion Fund. Combined together, offerings to these funds virtually matched donations in 2019 to our General Fund. In addition, our expenses in 2020 were lower than budgeted. Thank you for your generosity - in all seasons and on every occasion.
