Shaped by Jesus
We regularly hear good sermons and teachings about the way of Jesus. We take in a lot of information. But do we act on what we hear? Does the information make any difference in our day-to-day life? Are we paralyzed, not knowing what to do…so we do nothing? Have we become numb or indifferent? Has going to church become a routine checklist of “Christian” things to do?
What if we were formed and shaped by the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ, filled with love for God and the world? What if that led us to doing the things we read about in the Bible? How would our lives…and the world…be different?
For the next 4 months we will focus on the way of Jesus and how He wants our living to be joyful, intentional and to transform our lives and those around us. We will discover how to not just hear the “Word” but to also how to put it into practice. We will mix the teaching with stories, prayer and worship.
