One the traditions at ECC has been for members of the community to decorate a cross (that was preserved after a fire destroyed much of the building that ECC used to meet in) on Easter Sunday with flowers. This act for many symbolizes Christs redemptive work, the body that through him, we are all a part of, and the participatory nature of the kingdom that he has called us into. While we know that we cannot replace this, while being physically distant on Easter we are going to try a small act nonetheless of symbolically connecting us in a similar way.
- Please take photos of you, and your family (only if you are currently together, no breaking social distancing rules) during this season, ideally holding a flower if you have one, but no worries if not.
- Kids you can draw pictures that represent something about Easter or Hope or Life and take pictures of those.
- Adults / Teens / Everyone - Feel free to add other photos too along that theme, of Life, Hope, Redemption.
We would like to have at least one photo with your faces in them, but you are welcome (and encouraged) to submit multiple photos that express the themes of Life, Hope and Redemption in it as well. The more the merrier. Imperfect, messy, life right now faces are welcomed.
